New Little Guy

This is Austin Alan born 30 April 2010. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. He has been home a little less than a week, but Owen and Dakota love him and give him plenty of attention. We are still figuring out the sleep at night thing. I end up spending the last half of the night sleeping in the chair with him. P.s. any tips on that? He is pretty patient and content for a new baby. We love him very much!

Funny Things My Kids Do or Say

> Dakota is a crawling fool and she is into everything. She was hiding in Owens closet the other day. She also climbs in and out of cubby holes and other odd places. She is quite the girl. We love her!!
>Owen came in our room at 6 am and new I was not ready. So he gave me a kiss and said "sleep good, mommy." He then shut the door and went and played for 30 minutes and then dakota woke up. It was sweet!
>Today, Owen ate all of his dinner except 4 tiny carrots. He said he was done. I asked him if he could finish his carrots. He said that it was all gone. so I pointed them out and asked him again.He then said as if I was dumb and didn't understand, I eat them like this," and carried his hand to his mouth, "all gone."
>Dakota always reaches for nate, but then she instantly reaches back for me. We thought it was just cause she didn't know what she wanted, but today we realized that she wants Dad cause Dad will help her get ME!! She thinks it is funny to sneak up behind me and get me. Ske cracks up and she smiles when she pulls my hair and react!! Grandpa has another tease on his hands1
>We were getting the kids in the bath today and I looked over at Owen, he was looking down and peeing in the tub. So I said do you want to pee in the toilet? He said, "no, I done, It all gone."
>One day, Owen came to wake me up and I asked if he wanted to go to the park today. He then said, "Mommy awake, go to park, go down slide." Then he proceeded to pull off my covers. I tried hard to keep them on but his persistence won. He took them off until not even a toes was covered.
>Owens favorite sayings: *"Oh Gosh!" "Sick and Tired!"
>Dakota loves to be held by mommy! If I give her to someone else she will cry and cry. When she finally wins and I take her back, she stops instantly and looks at the other persom and smiles!
>The other day owen and dakota were sitting on my lap and Dakota attacked Owen and landed on his diaper area. Owen looked at me very concerned and said, "OOWW! Dakota hurt my poop!"
>Dakota loves food and If you eat in front of her she will squeal and yell at you. It is very cute!
