So we have some news to tell all and thought it would be easiest to do it through the blog for a few reasons:
1. We know everyone has their opinion and that is fine, but the expression of it is not always welcome in some situatutions. Such as this one. We would love to hear good positive things and congratulations, but negative and discouraging ones are not welcome! We say this as nicely as possible we just don't want to hear negative things.
2. Being that it is easier to let everyone know by saying it once and letting them read it when they want.
We are doing good and we are expecting our 3rd baby. We have an ultrasound tomorrow to find out how far I am. Yes, we are scared as you are with any new change or addtion, but we are happy about it. We are doing what God wants us to do even though others may think they know better than us. We have always found a way to follow Gods plan and have things work out the way He has planned. After the 3rd baby, we may be done, but we don't know. It is up to God.
We love you all and welcome any good, encouraging and positive comments. We realize Dakota and this new baby will be under 2 years apart and it is scary, but we felt strongly that it was what God wanted even though we tried to ignore it. The way I see it is that our children will be good friends and out of the house quicker to give us grand babies, which I here are much better. LOL :) We are happy and will accept and love this new baby!

Yeah!! Another baby!!! Who wouldn't be excited or happy for that? That is great!! I'm rooting for you guys!! It will be great.
ReplyDeleteCongrats. None of our children were planned. The Lord gave them to us when he saw fit. Good for you for trusting in Him and no one else.
ReplyDeleteYou can do this!! Speaking from experience.. My 3 boys are all ONE year apart! Derek was born 1 yr 9 days after Jeff's first birthday, infact I had 9 hours of labor on Jeff's birthday, went to the dr, and told her to stop them, as I didn't want them to have the same birthday, and then Justin was born 15 months after Derek.... It was like having triplets for a few years, but they shared everything, toys, clothes, sports etc. They are each others best friends, and it has all worked out well... So CONGRATULATIONS!!!! We couldn't afford alot and it was hard getting "out" with the little ones, so we played alot of board games, and once videos came out we had date night that way...
ReplyDeleteCongrats! How far along are you?
ReplyDeleteWhen will those two rascals be here on Friday?
Congratulations you guys! Let us know what the doc says!
ReplyDeleteAs I read this latest blog I feel like maybe you wrote it after speaking to me on the phone. I hope not. I am thrilled for you, probably jealous--I always wanted lots of babies, but the Lord in His wisdom didn't give them to me. I know that the Lord in His wisdom is giving them to you--you are an incredible mother with beautiful children. I only tease you cause I remember what you said about Dakota being the last one. (I think maybe you said I could hit you or something if you got pregnant again--so I will save it for later!!) Dad and I are very exited for you. And as parents we will always be scared for you--whether number 1 baby is on the way or number 12. We love you, Nate and the kids--the more the merrier.
ReplyDeleteWell karen 12 is out of the question, maybe even 4, unless these are twins. May 8th is the due date! We didn't mean for the blog to sound mean, but we heard stories from other people. so...yeah. JEN- My friends wedding is at 10:30 so 8:30 Am is that okay. Marti, thanks for the encouragement!! We love you all. Thank you Heidi and Abby and Stacie and Jen!
