This is Nate writing, be cautious :)

Girls are moody:) , she was playing on our bed and I was lying on the bed and she some how bounced off and decided she would have nothing to do with me for the rest of the night. I would try to hold her and she wouldn't let me get close. It was sad, she is ok of course no perminate damage, and today she is my little girl again. :) She is making some more fun noises which is good. She is getting faster in the crawling and likes to try to get away from us. It is really funny.
Owen and I went on a horse ride on Wednesday and it wasn't fun. :( We rode chipper and he usually is a great horse. When we got to the house Owen wanted to ride the white horse and I said no because he tends to be a little wilder, (i should have listend) so we rode Chipper. Everything started out ok. We got about a block away from the house and he started to act funny. I knew that wasn't a good sighn, but you cannot turn back when you start a ride with Owen. We keep going and got about four blocks away from the house and Owen wanted to go back. We started back, got about two blocks from the house. I wanted to cross the street and Chipper didn't want to. Of course when I am on a horse I want it to listen to me. Well, needless to say, we made it accross the street but not the way I wanted. Chipper started on a dead buck, not a crow hop and not a side jump. A stinken hard buck, head between his legs and butt high in the air and it was not fun. I had Owen on the front and yea needless to say we are ok, I have some sore leggs, and I walk funny, but we didn't get bucked off. Owen will tell you that chip bucked his boot off:) Owen wouldn't get back on, we got back to the house and I took Chipper to the round corral and man he didn't like that. He bucked again not as hard but the round corral is my turf and well lets just say he didn't like it.
Danielle is good, she is tired but came on a long walk with the kids and me today. We went to the park and had a great time. The pregnancey is going really good so far, pray it keeps going great.
As for me. I'm onry as ever :) I'm glade the back ground is in Washington. I was getting tired of phone calls and everything.

Update!

So here goes... Well Dakota is crawling on all fours now and getting into everything. She is quite the explorer and she climbs. We are in trouble. She is much happier now that she can move around and she is getting feistier. She is really fun and loves to get you and tease you! Owen is potty trained!! Yippeeee! He now will say, "I pee in my panties!" When he has to go pee or poop! He thinks it is funny to tease me about it. He is a toad. They both are, but they are dang cute ones!! The Border Patrol is doing an extensive background check on Nate. It is getting tedious! They have to talk to 2 of our neighbors in every place we have ever lived in the past ten years or 7 I can't remember. Same with all of his employers. They have to find people to verify that we lived their. And they have to verify that he worked the jobs he did! It is insane, I understand why, but man it is annoying and a long process. They guy keeps calling me and asking me if I know of anyone that knew we lived in the certain places. WE HAVE MOVED ALOT!! SO IT IS ALOT OF PEOPLE TO INTERVIEW! Poor Guy!

NEWEST NEWS

So we have some news to tell all and thought it would be easiest to do it through the blog for a few reasons:
1. We know everyone has their opinion and that is fine, but the expression of it is not always welcome in some situatutions. Such as this one. We would love to hear good positive things and congratulations, but negative and discouraging ones are not welcome! We say this as nicely as possible we just don't want to hear negative things.

2. Being that it is easier to let everyone know by saying it once and letting them read it when they want.

We are doing good and we are expecting our 3rd baby. We have an ultrasound tomorrow to find out how far I am. Yes, we are scared as you are with any new change or addtion, but we are happy about it. We are doing what God wants us to do even though others may think they know better than us. We have always found a way to follow Gods plan and have things work out the way He has planned. After the 3rd baby, we may be done, but we don't know. It is up to God.

We love you all and welcome any good, encouraging and positive comments. We realize Dakota and this new baby will be under 2 years apart and it is scary, but we felt strongly that it was what God wanted even though we tried to ignore it. The way I see it is that our children will be good friends and out of the house quicker to give us grand babies, which I here are much better. LOL :) We are happy and will accept and love this new baby!

It has been a while sice I have blogged. Sorry! Nate has been working out on that New Harmony fire alot! I missed him, but now he is home for 3 days. We went up to my families cabin on Cedar Mountain last night. Owen loved it up their, He just would wander off and he didn't care if he got lost. He would just explore the mountain and play with dirt and sticks not worrying where he was heading. Sounds familiar...Hmm... Dakota loved it too. She is crawling all over the place. Her favorite place to be is in Owens room. She loves to pull all the books off the bookshelf and then move on to his toys.
They have been really goods kids this week with Nate being gone as much as he was. The second they both they see their dad they get really excited and start bouncing around and they both want all of his attention. Friday night Owen didn't go to bed UNTIL 11:00. He heard Nate come in at 9:30 and he came and sat on Nate's lap and just talked away to him about everything. It was pretty cute. Dakota is a tease. She will grab my hair or my face and turn me towards her and just laugh. She is sure a cutie. well I have to get ready for church, I am giving the lesson in R.S. today!!

SHE DID IT!!

Dakota crawled today, finally! It was a broken leg crawl but it was a crawl and she put all her effort into it. I was so proud of her!! She was pretty proud of herself. Owen was clapping for her and saying Kota crawl to me. He would put his hands out. It was pretty cute! Grandma and grandpa Searle watched the kids for nate and I today while we went to the Oqquirh Mountain Temple Dedication. It was nice to sit by him and have his arm around me without kids to worry about. When we were leaving Grandma's house nate pointed to Grandpa suggesting that Owen give him a hug. Owen stopped, looked around and looked at Nate and said, "What?" It was pretty funny. He then gave grandpa a hug. then as we were walking out the door, he was shutting it and stopped, opened it again and said, Kisses! He went and gaave them both a kiss and then left and shut the door. Then he looked through the side window by the door and said, "Grandma," she would then look and he would go to the other side and do it. After playing that game for a minute, we told him we needed to go, so he looked in the window again and said, "Grandma, Owens got to go bye-bye." Then we left. We have pretty neat kids!!! Dakota loves to attack owen and squeal at him. We make war cry noises when we wrestle, so when she wrestles she tries to do the same thing, but hers sound sweet. She is quite the character. Owen the other day at grandmas house saw the picture of the St. George Temple on her wall and pointed excitedly and informed her "you have a temple!" Just when you think they are not learning and are ignoring you, they throw a fast curve ball at ya! It made me feel good! Well we love you all and are doing good! Just waiting for a Job opportunity, but it will come in time!!

Owen and His Sweetness

Owen came in our room at about 6 am this morning. Nate was already at work and Owen says to me, "I want daddy!" I said, "I know sweetie, but daddy is at work." He then replied, "daddy fishing!" Owen has not seen Nate since last night at 6 pm when Nate went fishing. He wanted to go so bad and he has been asking for him since. It is sad! Owen, knowing that I was not ready to get up this morning, said "kiss," he then did so, "sleep good mommy." Then he went and played for 30 minutes before he came in again. This time he brought me a horse so I could play with him. Dakota then woke up and we went to greet her good morning. She was sitting up and almost to a complete standing position against the side of her crib. I think it is time to lower her crib so she doesn't fall out!! She is doing much better with the babysitting thing. She cries for a minute and then is fine. Every once in a while she fusses and needs to be comforted, but then she is fine again. It is nice!! Thanks Grandma Searle for helping us out with her!!! I am cooking a roast for dinner tonight, just because I wanted to. I am excited, especially to see nates reactions to a yummy dinner. I put carrots in it from our garden and soem onions and potatoes. Then a little salt, pepper and some other yummy seasonings. Yea!!! Well things are good. Got a thing in the mail with a 2 days 2 nights free carribean cruise and $1300 voucher for traveling. anyways it is bogus, they want your money and it is too bad that you don't really get what you think you are getting. Too bad, it would be fun!!!

I Can Do It Myself!

So We have started to read books all together in Dakota's room before she goes to bed at night. One night we read a sesame street book, "I can Do it Myself." Nate read it, "I can put my toys away. I can do it myself.I can pour my juice. I can button my buttons.I can comb my hair.I can water my plant.I can put on my boots. I can write my name.I can make my bed. I can do it myself. I can ride my tricycle. I can set the table. I can brush my teeth. I can look at this whole book. I can do it myself." After each phrase nate would say, Owen would look at Dakota and repeat it while doing the actions to it. it was so cute. The brushing the teeth part has a horsey brushing his teeth. so Owen said, "I can brudh the horseys teeth," while doing the actions. Dakota sure loved it and we enjoyed watching it!!! He even buttoned his shirt that didn't have buttons.

Dakota pulled herself to standing position today using the couch. she thought that was pretty neat, me too. She is way fun and playful. The other night she decided she didn't want to go to bed, so after crying bloody murder for a half hour, i went and got her. She wanted oatmeal. so we gave it to her. then she wanted to play. so her and Owen stayed awake until 10 pm playing. They laughed and giggled. She sure has a happy personality with a very cute and sweet sqeal, smile and laugh. Most of you think otherwise because you probably have never seen it. She really is a happy baby who makes us all smile and laugh. She just has stranger/seperation anxiety really bad right now. My sister, Holly, was as ornery as Dakota towards other people too. she grew out of it and so will Dakota, I hope!! It is such a blessing to have such a special spirit in our home. She has a way of cheering you up even when you are wanting her to go to sleep. Sometimes when we are trying to get her to sleep, and you are holding her in your arms, she will be almost there and then she will suddenly look up at you and smile. You can't help but smile back. She has a very sweet and contagious smile. Owen, and everybody, sure loves to do anything to get a smile out of her. Her laugh, that is another story! Well we sur elove our family and friends. We hope you all enjoy reading this and hopefully feel in touch through it. We love reading your comments.

"I deny it not" I did see the comedy of errors

So the coolest thing happened tonight. We went to the Greenshow tonight. It was way fun and rejuvenating. I got talking to Nate how their were alot plays I wanted to go see this season. so I went to the box office to see how much students pay and they said it was 1/2 off 30 minutes before the show. We had our kids with us so their was no way we could go. We decided that Nate would take the kids and I could go, so I ran to my car to get my purse so i could buy a ticket. When nate went to the box office to buy me a ticket, the Lady handed one to him and said somebody had dropped it off and didn't need it. they said we could have it, so i got to go to the comedy of Errors for freeeeeeee! The seat was on the 4th row in the middle section. It was great and their was no one blocking my view!! Thanks to my sweet and awesome and sexy and.....Need I say more?! ....Husband for taking our kids so I could go have an evening out. I feel bad though. I really want him to be able to go with me!!! So alls we need is a babysitter one night for 3 hours. If their are any takers let us know!!!!!

Cowboy Up!

The 4 of us went for a horse ride today out in enoch. It was Dakota's first time being on a horse. She seemed to enjoy it. She sure looked around alot. The horse Nate was on (Donatello) started acting up towards the end. It was scary being on a different horse and watching to people I love getting knocked around. I was mostly worried for Dakota, but she handled it fine and it didn't seem to phase her. I think she knows her daddy will protect her. Owen and I were on Chipper aka Chip. Owen calls him/her chip. Every once in a while Owen would take off his hat and hold it high and yell "ta, ya, come on horsey!" It was pretty funny. He would talk the whole time about horses or animals he saw. It was fun to ride as a family!! We went swimming yesterday. Dakota got a New float tube she enjoyed sitting and relaxing in. Owen became a dare devil yesterday and wanted to float in a little round tube by himself. He would tell us to let him go if we held on to it. The one he was in just had a hole in the middle unlike Dakota's which had support in the middle. It has been fun!! Then we ate at Mcdonalds for lunch today and Owen played in the tubes and the ball cage. He also got a free Ice Cream from Mcdonalds. They do it for all children who are under 12, so I got 2, one for Owen and One for Dakota(we ate Dakota's) ;)

PrairieDog Heaven

I just saw the most twisted and disgusting image ever! I was driving home in my automobile:) and swirved to miss a prairie dog which was all bloody and his body was flopping crazily on the ground. It was like a chicken with his head cut off. UuGH! I guess that is what they get when prairie moms don't teach their prairiedogs to look both ways before crossing the street! I had one stand upright on it's hind legs and just stare at me. i figured once I got close enough it would move. I guess we played chicken and I was, unfortunately, the chicken! the darn thing was dumb!! then just today after seeing that nasty image, 3 prairie dogs were on the side of the street. One crossed in plenty of time, then the 2nd made it across barely. I slowed down to wait for the 3rd one, but it just sat and stared at me, so I figured it would wait. Then as I pressed the gas it decided to cross, and low and behold it went under me. I freaked out because that is just gross to kill something with your car. I guess I shouldn't assume that a prairie dog will wait for a car before crossing the street. I looked in my rear view mirror and it was flopping then a few seconds later it got up and finished crossing. It was odd. I wonder what crosses their minds, if they have one. Was thatr dog dared by his buddies to do that or do they think they rule the world and everyone will stop for them or are they really just stupid things that are plotting to take over Cedar City?! They say they are endangered, but the organization that decided that has obviously never been to Cedar city!! If they are really endangered it is because they run in front of cars and eat eachother! anyways, that is my deep and intellectual thoughts for the day. Owen is asleep and Dakota is trying to eat a wrapper, so I better go!! She stuck her binky in her mouth, I guess the wrapper wasn't very good. she is a very active and fun baby, but when she crawls I will have to keep a close eye on her very curious mind!!!! Owen has been wearing his huge boots everywhere. He says, "Owen wear boots like daddy!" It is pretty cute!

Doing my Best

Dakota likes her popsicles!! So I let Owen color on paper with a pen today and he did that for awhile then he colored all over his legs! He is quite the kid. We had a good 4th of July. We went up to Brian Head with some friends and had a BBQ. We were going to stay for the fireworks but Owen got too cold and was whiney so we saw them as we left. We atleast avoided the traffic jam. It was nice. I got to thinking sometimes it would be nice to just get a break from kids for more than an hour and go do something like that without having to worry where they are at and if they are okay. I think that is a sign that Nate and I need to go on a long date. That would be fun. We are scared to leave Dakota with a babysitter though. One, she won't take a bottle, but she does eat solids. Two, she has stranger anxiety or something because she cries alot when we leave her. I am okay with her crying, but I worry about the babysitter. I just need to find somebody willing to deal with that and make dakota get used to it!!! Owen loves the pop its. He got to do them for the first time the other day. It is funny how something so cheap and little is so amazing to a child. I love it. We are babysitting my little brother and sister this week. Owen will love it. he loves Keagan and Vanessa. He will have tons of fun. I will have to watch Dakota well. Keagan loves her so much and is such a big helper if you know what I mean. Well I have to go work at the gym. See ya later.

Monday, June 22, 2009

Well I am horrible at blogging. I am going to try to be good. we just got back from nephi this morning at 7:30 AM. I will give you an update on our lives. we are currently in Cedar City, Ut. Nate just graduated with his bachelors in May in Ag Business. He is currently working for the BLM. Owen turned 2 in March. He is learning his ABC's he knows half of them. He can also count to 10. I am pretty proud for my smarty pants, but he is also smart in ways I don't want him to be. Like remembering everything I say and then repeating it at later dates. Some of his favorites are, "I am sick and tired" and "Leave me alone, I am trying to sleep." It is great. He loves horses, cowboys, bulls and basically any other creature with 4 legs. Dakota was born December 14, 2008. She is already 6 months. it is CrAzY! We just got our new family pics taken on saturday. I am excited to see them. Dakota is sitting up and almost scooting. She is very fun. she is happy and smiles alot. Owen can make her laugh pretty hard just by making funny noises and faces at her. She also loves her aunt and Uncle Keagan and Vanessa. She also loves her other aunts and uncles. Owen loves them all, especially Keagan and nessa and Jen! Dakota will someday love her Grandpa's, they will probably be her favorites a year from now. Well that is all for now. BYe
